Responsible Purchasing and Suplly Chain Policy

Purpose

The Responsible Purchasing and Supply Chain Policy aims to ensure that QUA GRANITE HAYAL YAPI VE ÜRÜNLERİ SANAYİ TİCARET A.Ş. acts responsibly in the purchasing processes and that all its suppliers operate in accordance with its policies and strategies on sustainability and adopt the principle of continuous improvement.

Scope

It covers all activities that directly or indirectly affect QUA GRANITE HAYALYAPI VE ÜRÜNLERİ SANAYİ TİCARET A.Ş.'s works.

General Principles

With the Responsible Purchasing and Supply Chain Policy created and announced by QUA GRANITE HAYALYAPI VE ÜRÜNLERİ SANAYİ TİCARET A.Ş., we adopt the following principles:

• Carrying out our procurement and purchasing activities in the light of all legal regulations and international sustainability approaches and best practices, including but not limited to the International Labor Organization and the United Nations Convention on Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,
• Continuously monitoring the sustainability practices and performances of our suppliers,
• Continuously improving our supply and procurement processes in line with sustainable development requirements,
• Contributing to the awareness and capacity building of our suppliers on sustainability,
• Prioritizing local suppliers in procurement and purchasing processes,
• Taking action to terminate the business relationship, in case of violation of these principles.

As QUA GRANITE HAYAL YAPI VE ÜRÜNLERİ SANAYİ TİCARET A.Ş., in line with the Responsible Purchasing and Supply Chain Policy, we expect our suppliers;

• To fully comply with the policies, instructions and all relevant legal regulations issued by Qua Granite in all processes,
• To respect human rights; not discriminate on the basis of religion, language, race, ethnic origin, age, gender; prevent forced labor, including but not limited to child labor, migrant labor and respect the right of employees to unionize,
• To comply with legal regulations on issues such as occupational health and safety and working conditions,
• To carry out activities to fight against climate change and mitigate environmental impacts and comply with legal regulations in this field,
• To adopt the principle of zero tolerance for bribery and corruption,
• To be collaborative in reducing the environmental and social impacts of our products and services,
• To act in a cooperative and transparent manner in the audit processes to be carried out by Qua Granite.
